[These rules are for the Men's sessions only. See page on FFF Football for Women for separate session rules.]
Place & Time
- The sessions on Mondays (8-9pm and 9-10pm), Tuesdays (9-10pm), and Thursdays (9-10pm) take place at The Priory School 3G pitch, Bedford Road, Hitchin SG5 2UR.
- The
Wednesdays sessions (8-9pm and 9-10pm) take place at Hitchin Boys School astro-pitch, Fishponds Road, SG5 1NR (next to the Swimming Pool).
- Sessions run on a weekly basis except Bank Holidays, two weeks over the Christmas period, and on infrequent occasions when the weather doesn’t allow us to play (ie snow/ice).
Minimum Age
- The minimum entry age for our Football for Fathers sessions is 30+. (The only exception is the FFF Women's session).
Session Cost
- Your first session is free as a taster. Thereafter it costs £90 a quarter (£360 a year).
- We unfortunately do not accept walk-ups or +1 friends on the night. The sessions are only open to paying, subscribed players only.
- There is no swapping between sessions in Hitchin and other locations such as Stevenage/Letchworth.
- In the event of a Covid-19 Lockdown, session fees are halted for the duration of the lockdown period.
Session Rules
- FFF sessions and games are full of different abilities, shapes, speeds and sizes. Whether you’re Hitchin's Lionel Messi or Lionel Blaire, you're welcome as part of the club, and you’ll be expected to make others welcome too.
- Games at sessions are informal with no referee and the matches being managed between the players. Normal football rules apply with the exception of rush goalkeepers. Any fouls are managed between the teams – this is social, fun football – not the Champions League. Any persistent/reckless fouling will not be tolerated.
- You must have the correct footwear: Hitchin Boys School astro requires grippy astro turf trainers. Studs or blades of any kind are not allowed. The Priory School’s 3G pitch requires firm-ground boots (look for a 'FG' when buying them) with plastic moulded studs. Trainers, metal studs and boots with blades are not allowed.
- Please be aware of our five founding principles as listed on the Our Story page. Games are competitive, fun and of a good standard. We don’t tolerate any players being overly competitive (physically or verbally), aggressive or discriminatory in their interactions with other players. All players play at their own risk and by subscribing you agree with the terms of our health and safety policy.
- Lastly, have fun. FFF was started by seven chaps who love football. Please adhere to the rules and keep it that way.
