FFF STEVENAGE

With successful sessions running in Hitchin and Letchworth, the FFF revolution moved to Stevenage in September 2021. Enjoy fun, competitive, 'no fuss' football on Monday evenings at The Nobel School.  Full details below...

no fuss football

Football for Fathers has grown from a few mates playing 'jumpers for goalposts' in a park in Hitchin to 500+ subscribed dads (and mums) aged 30+, playing  fun, no fuss football, 50 weeks of the year.

The plan is pretty simple - it's football like you played when you were a kid. Fun, friendly and competitive games for the over 30's.

Payment is by quarter (ie. every 3 months). We don't do 'pay-as-you-play' and when joining, your first session is free, and thereafter it's £90 a quarter in Stevenage. You turn-up to as many sessions as you can and notify us via our Pitchero app when you are attending.

Our Stevenage session runs on Monday evenings, 9-10pm, at The Nobel School, Mobbsbury Way, Stevenage SG2 0HS.

SESSION RULES

Place & Time

  • The sessions take place on Monday evenings at 9-10pm at The Nobel School, Mobbsbury Way, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG2 0HS.
  • Sessions run on a weekly basis except Bank Holidays, two weeks over the Christmas period, and on infrequent occasions when the weather doesn’t allow us to play (ie snow/ice).

Minimum Age

  • The minimum entry age for our Football for Fathers sessions is 30+. (The only exception is the FFF Women's session).

Session Cost

  • Your first session is free as a taster. Thereafter it costs £90 a quarter.
  • We unfortunately do not accept walk-up's or +1 friends on the night. The sessions are only open to paying, subscribed players only.
  • There is no swapping between sessions in Stevenage and other locations such as Hitchin/Letchworth.
  • In the event of a Covid-19 Lockdown, sessions fee's are halted for the duration of the lockdown period.

Session Rules

  • FFF sessions and games are full of different abilities, shapes, speeds and sizes. Whether you’re Stevenage's Lionel Messi or Lionel Blaire, you're welcome as part of the club, and you’ll be expected to make others welcome too.
  • Games at sessions are informal with no referee and the matches being managed between the players. Normal football rules apply with the exception of rush goalkeepers. Any fouls are managed between the teams – this is social, fun football – not the Champions League. Any persistent/reckless fouling will not be tolerated.
  • You must have the correct footwear: The Nobel School astro requires grippy astro turf trainers. Studs or blades of any kind are not allowed.
  • Please be aware of our five founding principles as listed on the Our Story page. Games are competitive, fun and of a good standard. We don’t tolerate any players being overly competitive (physically or verbally), aggressive or discriminatory in their interactions with other players. All players play at their own risk and by subscribing you agree with the terms of our health and safety policy.
  • Lastly, have fun. FFF was started by seven chaps who love football. Please adhere to the rules and keep it that way.

"FFF IS UTTERLY BRILLIANT. IT IS A FANTASTIC WAY TO RELAX AND LET OFF SOME STEAM" - TOM
